There are lots of important things that often get overlooked in business and industry, which tend to turn out more important than the technical and financial issues. I am the first to admit that I did’t always get those things right the first time, but I can say that I always felt bad when I failed, and I always corrected my mistakes and tried to make up for those failings.

This is a brief summary of some of the things that have impressed me in my decades in business – failings of either my own making or that of others.
