A week or two ago, I was waiting in line at the post office with a half dozen or more others. Immediately in front of me was a lady whose phone rang, and she answered it. She had one of those voices that can cut steel, and as it filled the building, some folks were visibly annoyed, while others looked at each other with that “bless her little heart” look.

When she said, “Well, you know, not all liberals are dumb”, I blurted out, “and not all conservatives are greedy”, loud enough that everyone could hear, including her. I didn’t get a chance to chat with anyone in the line afterward, but the moment reminded me of Stereotypes.
